The Department

§1 | DEPARTMENT CONDUCT

This card will go over how you should act on-site, off-site, and on Discord. It is expected you follow these regulations at all times.

§2 | GENERAL EXPECTATIONS

  • On-site, you are expected to follow a specific dress code. This dress code ensure that you have a professional look on-site and on external sites.
  • Realistic Skin Tone
  • Realistic Face
  • No Packages
  • No obnoxious accessories
  • You're required to uphold integrity and honesty in all tasks and logs within this department. Fabrication or dishonesty is strictly prohibited.
  • You are expected to be maturity and professional with everything you do. This is excused during off-duty/off-topic channels or events.
  • You are expected to treat everyone with respect. Discrimination, racist remarks, etc. will not be tolerated and you will be swiftly removed.

§3 | COMMUNICATION

While at on-site, it's important to maintain professionalism and maturity in your communication, reflecting well on the IAD. You also act as a representative of this foundation both on-site and online. Therefore, adhere to the following communication guidelines:

  • Use proper English
  • Use grammar
  • Be professional and mature

§1 | DISCIPLINARY SYSTEM

This card will go over the punishment system set forth within the IAD.

§2 | DISCIPLINARY CODES

  • There are 5 codes in the MD, each corresponding to an offense. The EC retains the right to enact any of these disciplinary codes, should both the MD & the EC management see fit.
  • Each code will consist of 3 alphabetical letters – these go from least severe (B/C) to most severe (A). Codes may be adjusted however, based off of a multitude of factors if necessary.

§3 | CLASS WARNINGS

  • Class C Warning Class C Warnings, also referred to as verbal warnings, are administered verbally and are more so considered to be reminders.
  • Class B Warning Class B Warnings, also referred to as written warnings, are administered to the individual through any means of text although typically, Discord DMs. These do not go on record and are still considered to be more so of a reminder.
  • Class A Warning Class A Warnings are administered both verbally & written. These go on record however dissipate after 3 days of a clean record.

§4 | CLASS INFRACTIONS

  • Class C Infraction Class C Infractions are moderate offences that are put upon an individual. These remain on record however dissipate after a clean slate has been met for a timeframe of 3 weeks.
  • Class B Infraction Class B Infractions are moderate however, more severe than Class C Infractions, offences that are put upon an individual. These remain on record however dissipate after a clean slate has been met for a timeframe of 4 weeks.

§5 | CLASS MISDEMEANORS

  • Class C Misdemeanor Class C Misdemeanors, or a departmental suspension, accompany any sentence that involves a members Class-E sentence. These, and any other misdemeanors, do not fade off one’s record and will remain indefinitely.
  • Class B Misdemeanor Class B Misdemeanors are administered to invoke a departmental suspension of 2+ weeks.
  • Class A Misdemeanor Class A Misdemeanors, or a departmental exile, are administered to invoke one’s removal. These do not reset certifications & should the individual rejoin, they will be cleared to progress faster.

§6 | CLASS FELONIES

  • Class C Felony Class C Felonies, or a departmental blacklist, are invoked to remove & blacklist a member for a specified amount of time. These reset all the individuals certificate and when the blacklist period has passed, they will be treated as any other new intern. These, and any other felony, will not fade off of one’s record.
  • Class B Felony Class B Felonies, or a departmental blacklist, are invoked to blacklist a member for a specified amount of time.
  • Class A Felony Class A Felonies, or a permanent departmental blacklist, are invoked to permanently forbid the individual to join the department.

§1 | GRADING

This card will go over how the grading system pertaining to departmental services work.

§2 | MARK DEDUCTION & MARK APPOINTMENT

  • Marks are deducted when the criteria isn’t filled out in your response. This can include leaving spots blank, uncreative and or bland documentation, and general lack of effort/concisement. Graders may deduct for alternative reasons, of course, however for whatever points are lost an explantation will be delivered.
  • Marks are appointed when the criteria is met. This can include filling out each box accordingly, using creative documentation, and an overall great report.

§1 | ACTIVITY QUOTA

This card will go over the standard quota that's to be met while you’re enlisted in the MD. Quota resets each Sunday at 4:00 AM UTC

§2 | EXCEPTIONS

  • The sole reason of exception is a Leave of Absence (LoA) or alternatively referred to as an Inactivity Notice (IN).
  • Should this reason not be met, you are expected to deliver your quote on a weekly basis.
  • On the date when the IN ends & begins, it exempts that entire week. For example: having an IN start on Monday the 5th exempts that first week, and having it end on Friday the 16th exempts that entire second week.

Should the individual not receive a promotion after 2 weeks of their entry, they will be exiled.

§2 | POLICY

Post-op interviews are a specialized, optional step that can be taken after your test subject survives either an anomaly interaction or a surgical procedure and has the capability to engage in an interview.

  2. You are able to spectate a scientific test and ask the research host for permission to conduct a post-op interview.
  3. Always begin an interview with an introduction and conclude by thanking the interviewee for their time
  4. You must use grammar, punctuation, and remain mature/professional. You represent the entire SCPF.
  5. There is a 24-hour cooldown before questioning the same person.
  6. You are required to come up 5 questions pertaining to your test.

§1 | CHECKUPS

A check-up is a basic task within the department & are hosted regularly to ensure the well-being of our personnel.

§2 | TEST SUBJECT PROCEDURE

Class-D Check-Up

  • Begin by going to one of the Briefing Rooms and request a combative and CD. Medical Student - Resident may request one CD and one combative maximum. Nurses may request up to two CD and one combative. Physician+ may request any sum of CD, however must follow a 2 CD per 1 combative ratio.
  • Instruct the combative to brief the CD. If a CD refuses, you are to order the combative to find a new CD and rebrief.
  • Once all CD have accepted the terms, you are to walk towards the Medical Bay.
  • Before heading to a room, have them wear a mask to prevent gaining a virus mid-checkup and check their sanity level; if not 100% use the PsychKit to repair their mental state.
  • Once inside, have them lay down on a bed.
  • Introduce yourself to them. Example: “Hello, I am punishdd! I will be conducting a check-up on you, is there any questions before we begin?”
  • If there are no questions, introduce the first part of the check-up. Example: “We will begin with a memory phrase/code. You are to remember this code as you will be asked for it later on.”
  • You can make up your code or phrase. Example: “0023” or “The blue dog walked into the red park.”
  • Afterward, you will ask them 5-7 medical questions. These questions must be appropriate and medical related. You can make your own questions or use the questions in the log.
  • Once you have asked these questions, you will test their vision. Have them stand on the yellow line and start at the top and work their way down. From there, you will note down their score.
  • Afterward, you will conduct 2-3 physical tasks. You can make up these tasks or use the tasks in the log.
  • Once done, ask them for the code/phrase. Note down in your log if they remembered it or not.
  • Lastly, you are give them an overview of their health, any concerns, and any help they need.
  • Once this is done, you are to have the combative escort the Class D back.
  • Submit your log in with the appropriate command.

§1 | ANOMALY CHECKUPS

This card will go over standard anomaly testing procedure. Only Resident+ are eligible to host this.

§2 | PROCEDURE

Anomaly Checkups

  • Begin by going to the outside of your chosen SCPs containment chamber and request for a combative to meet you there. If your chosen anomaly is Safe, you need 1 combative. If your chosen anomaly is Euclid or Keter, you need 2 combatives.
  • Once you and your required amount of escorts are ready to begin, you all may enter the outside containment chamber of the SCP.
  • Through the glass, kindly introduce yourself as a doctor who is here to help and ask for their consent in performing a non-invasive verbal checkup. Observe the SCP’s initial reaction through the containment chamber glass. If the SCP exhibits aggression, do not proceed further. If the SCP appears compliant or neutral, direct your available combatives to open the inner chamber door.
  • Once the inner chamber door is open, calmly and clearly instruct the SCP to follow you and the escorts toward the medbay. Ensure that you maintain a safe distance between you and the SCP.
  • Upon arrival at the medbay, guide the SCP to the examination area where you’ll then conduct standard checkup procedure.
  • After completing the checkup, calmly escort the SCP back along to its original containment chamber.

§1 | RECRUITMENT BOOTH

This card will go over standard procedure for hosting a recruitment booth in the CDCZ Staff Interface. Only Nurse+ are eligible to host this. A minimum of 15 minutes in the booth is required to count as a task.

Setup

Responsibilities

  • Answer Questions: Provide information about the Medical Department’s duties, ranks, and opportunities.
  • Promote Engagement: Encourage players to check out Medical Department activities such as checkups, trainings, and on-site support.
  • Application Guidance: Direct interested players to the in-game application system. If needed, give them the Discord invite codes and explain the process.

Professionalism

  • Be polite, approachable, and welcoming.
  • Keep responses short but informative.
  • Avoid arguments or unrelated conversations while on duty.

Closing the Booth

  • When done, announce politely that the booth is closing & on the radio that you’re ending the Recruitment Duty.
